Yep, I see Dr. Kaufman.

What I like about him is he doesn't do the same drill with every patient.

In my case, it was a semen culture and antibiotics. In 5 weeks I got dramatically better -- 80% -- but the last 20% is lingering and I'm working on that.

I know of another case where he did NOT prescribe antibiotics or a semen culture, but recommended "trigger point massage" and the patient had a 100% recovery.

And in a third case, someone on this forum was advised he might have interstitial cystitis, and was recommended to take tests.

I don't mean to suggest he is magic or anything but I like his manner, he listens, and he's the only one of 12 urologists who helped me. And he's not stuck on a single approach.
