In my case, a second semen culture also showed E. Faecalis.

It's a bug that ordinarily lives in the intestines, and should not be on hands. If the culture shows "moderate" or more bacteria, I would think contamination is a less likely answer.

There are other alternatives than linezolid and Vancomycin; specifically the aminoglycoside which may be synergistic when combined with ampicillin. But while there are oral variations (Neotab, Tobramycin) ordinarly they are delivered by IV also.

But I'm ready.
