I too have suffered from this off and on for years. It had been 2 years since my last flare up and I was rather upset when it occurred again. I tried everything to alleviate the pain and discomfort. Initially I took 20 days of an antibiotic and it seemed to help a little but not clear things up. I then tried the fenugreek and saw palmetto suggested here. Seemed to help a bit more but still did not clear things up. For some strange reason I added taking a multivitamin a few weeks after taking the other herbs and things started feeling better. The combination of the herbs and vitamins was giving me an upset stomach so I stopped the vitamin and back came the pain and discomfort. Got me thinking, so I started the vitamin again and stopped the fenugreek and saw palmetto and my symptoms cleared. I have no idea why but I suggest trying it if nothing else has worked for you. I take one tablet of One a Day Men's Health Formula and seem to be in the clear. Good luck and hang in there!!!
