im back from my initial visit with dr. toth whom i learned about from brendonb of this board who learned about him thru prostatis.org
he knows more about this than any urologist i have ever seen even though technically he is not a urologist he did a rectal sonogram and found out my prostate is enlarged, infected and has scarred calcified areas and that is the cause of the ep he says once they find out what it is they will try to target it specifically with a specific antibiotic aimed at that organism, and that altho my prostate and ep are messed up, i might not need any intravenous antibiotics and the prostate injections if they can determine the exact bacteria or whatever altho there is a good chance i will still need them, but he seems very confident that i can be cured is the good news if you live in the tristate area i strongly advise you see him , he is way more knowledgable and spends way more time with you per visit than anyone doctor of anykind i ever saw (2 hrs. plus) and he also examined my father who i brought along because he thinks this may be something passed down some of the tests were rather painful, but i feel good speaking to someone who knows that there talkin about, no other urologist even mentioned the word prostatis to me, so once the culture results come back well plan out the treatment and therapy process thanks to brendon for telling me to go see him, i encourage anyone with prostatis/ep in the area to go see him ASAP |
