My pain has been very cyclical too. It's been slowly gradually evening out over time, but for a while, it was like being on a hair-raising rollercoaster. Every few days, I'd be back in bed again with pain so severe it would make my eyes go crossed. It's still flaring up from time to time, but it's not as severe as it used to be, and it doesn't usually last as long each time either.

And of course, I have to end this by saying, *KNOCK ON WOOD*...!
