Hi.

Yeah, my epididymus normally feels strange after an attack but I don't know if I'd classify it as the same as yours. I've been trying to determine if it's me being extra sensitive (i.e a mental thing) or if there's actually something there, I'd wager it's a little of both.

Obviously if mine is swollen then I can pinpoint that as different but I am also starting to wonder if my different sides actually take different time to heal than each other. The left certainly seems to take longer to heal if I get it there.

I've -never- waited the full six weeks stated online to see if it completely heals because once there's no pain i've normally waited an extra week and assumed it 'all okay'. No doctor ever told me otherwise either, which I think could be a big shame as I think waiting this period on initial occurances could be key in avoiding more. At least for some people.

But I digress.

If I sense a flare up then I normally end up 'sleeping' (if it can be called that) on my back with my legs together and raised to hold my scrotum up high. A also place a pillow under my lower back to get more height. It's not the best, but apparantly it helps drainage of the area.

TT
